I'm pretty fed up with gaining a smattering of Arcade Toy catalogs. My hope is to fill in holes within my personal collection, or at least know what was found.
Right now I have copies of these resources. Feel free to email me at toys (at symbol) antiquetoys.com or private message me here if you can help me procure the missing items:
My favorite-- Al Aune's "Arcade Toys" book. This has been out of print and pricey, but a superior resource.
-- 1902 or 1903 Arcade Toy Catalogue (note the spelling). It has a gray cover with a red center inside a wreath.
--1925 (estimated) with a cover showing a four way intersection. There is a Yellow cab, The Andy Gump 348 comic car, a bus, and a dump truck.
-- 1928 Arcade catalog copy. Mine is the Rich Toymaster ID aid copy.
-- 1929 (estimated). No 37 with a yellow cover and two elves casting iron.
-- 1931 Fred and Jane with the Tiny Arcadians. It has some toys and a display photograph; it also has pages of kids poems.
--1932 (estimated). No 40. Arcade Cast Iron Toys catalog. This has a Red (vinyl like) set of squares with tan and green squares on the cover. The toy line swoops down from top right to mid left, and ends with a Monocoupe Arcade plane.
--1933 No 41. Same design as above, but with green and pink/purple. The final toy line car is a truck with bus trailer (1933 Century of Progress truck) .
--1936 Catalog No 51. This Arcade cover has Red ARCADE letters shadowed in black. The Toys looks like a cherry on top, and is set on top of a cola like dark bottom.
--1940 Catalog number 58 (Here I'm not sure if more than one catalog was release per year). Why the four year gap, yet seven catalogs?
Beyond this, I humbly defer to the catalog collectors for help!
